This season, each ship will compete in challenges for Immunity, where the winning crew will receive a bounty of gold coins. Gold will play a large part in gameplay here in the Caribbean - not only for your crew as a whole, but you as an individual. As of right now, everyone is starting out on an even playing field, however, that will soon change.
All sailing vessels operate in a hierarchy, where everyone has a role and plays their part. Before we set sail and delve out these roles, each crew will be given a brief opportunity to get to know one another. After that, it is game on.

Captain The leader of the ship. During the age of piracy, captain's tended to be held in high esteem because they were called upon to protect the best interest of the vessel and crew. Captain’s duties includes any and all decisions that need to be made in the game. They will get the final say. In order to be voted out as captain it needs to be a unanimous vote. If it’s not unanimous, any votes for the captain will not count. However, if the captain receives a majority of the votes but not a unanimous vote, they are overthrown and will become the lowest ranked position on the ship. If this situation happens, all votes for the captain will be cancelled and the next highest vote getter goes home.
Quartermaster The person in charge of handling all the gold for the ship. They will be the one to delve out any money the crew mates will need. They will be the only person who knows how much money the ship has. They are not allowed to give themselves or a single crew member more than 25 gold in a round, with the minimum being 10 gold.
Sailing Master The open seas is full of mysterious islands. The sailing master will get to sail the open seas each round. Some islands will have riches, some may have pitfalls, but that’s the thrill of sailing. As more maps are obtained by the sailing master the more places they can venture out to with riches beyond their wildest dreams.
Gunner This crew member is in charge of starting an attack on the opposing ship by shooting cannon balls. Depending on the type of weapon Gunner's have, more shots could be fired. Making contact with the opposing ship and they could be disadvantaged in the coming Immunity.
Boatswain Someone needs to keep the ship a float. This role is in charge of making sure the ship stays a float. Boatswain's will get to place shields on the ship in hopes of protecting it from sinking.
Carpenter This role is the boatswains key person. The Carpenter is in charge of making protective gear for the boatswain to use. Certain protective gear takes more material than others. Once the ship starts taking hits, it’s up to the Carpenter to rebuild the ship with the correct material.
Cook Everyone loves to eat! It’s up to the cook to make sure everyone on the ship is fed. If the ship isn’t fed everyone will go hungry, and in turn will cause that crew to be disadvantaged in the coming Immunity Challenge.
Musician There always has to be some fun on the ship and that’s the role of the Musician. In order to keep everyone’s spirits high and wanting to work the Musician needs to play an instrument each day to keep morale and energy high. Failure to play music for the crew on any day before the results of any Immunity Challenge, your ship's rewards will be at risk.
Powder Monkey These are the crew members who have to do all the grunt work. Any type of material that is needed for the ship is their goal to obtain. Powder Monkey's will do this once per episode by venturing to the village. One wrong decision could cause the entire ship to fail. They may be the lowest rank of the ship but they play a huge role in your ship's success.
More details about your specific roles are located in your forum confessional. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Production. Ultimately, each role on the ship must fulfill their duties (if any) before the end of each episode, unless otherwise stated like in the role of the Musician.
